In this guide, we will identify some possible causes that may cause kernel mode caching to be disabled, and then we will describe possible solutions to this problem. The cache engine caches operating system objects such as threads, property spaces, and application engines. Very high-level application kernels provide application management functions, line priority and address space management, and administrator-level complexity limitation.

    What is IIS output caching?

IIS output caching is for semi-dynamic content. This allows them to cache static responses for dynamic requests and improve scalability. Note that not only every dynamic page can inherit the benefits of an output cache.

This is not a new bug, but I wanted community feedback on this and the best ways to disable kernel mode caching.

How do I disable kernel caching in IIS?

When the Output Caching screen appears, click the Edit Function Settings shortcut button in the Actions window.iya”. Uncheck Enable Cache and Enable Primary Cache in Condition to prevent output caching without another filter based on file extensions in the current IIS website.

The problem is fairly simple and, strictly speaking, not unique to ARR. Many people have about 400,000 users in their setup, using 10 different websites scattered across a large farm of four servers. We recently added a fifth ARR capable machine to replace haproxy instance. Everything was fine until we started getting reports of users “getting wet like someone else”.

We were having a hard time reproducing the game until something happened to one of us on the development team. A little investigation showed us that an instance of the trick balancer working with ARR was showing part of the attackers/authentication of the client browser session owned by someone else. User. On top of that, it was impossible to replicate and actually seemed completely random… but no less.

Slightly more detailed research (here and elsewhere) showed that this issue was previously directly related to caching and kernel-mode caching (a feature of IIS6+). Disabling this feature may resolve the issue.

So far I’ve seen three recommended approaches to stop the cache:

    disabling kernel-mode caching

Last night I applied all three changes and did an IISRESET. After that, the “netsh http show cachestate” command line showed that there were still items in the memory cache (assuming the connected connections issue was not resolved).

I’ll try a hard reset tonight to see if I can disable this factor.

My question to the free community is “Does anyone else have similar problems?”

I’m always a little unsure that this is not a topic that can be discussed in more detail.

Question 10.According to Microsoft (http://support article.microsoft.com/kb/817445), ISAPI filters cannot be cached. Does SiteMinder use ISAPI filters that change default or caching related settings such as FilterEnableCache?

    What is output caching?

The output cache allows anyone to cache the content returned by a controller action. This way, the same content doesn’t have to be generated every night, and the same controller action is usually called. For example, imagine your ASP.NET MVC application displays a list of database records in a view called Index.

The WWW Agent for IIS 7 and IIS 7.5 did not use your IIS Cache APIs prior to the versions mentioned above. This change was introduced to simplify and ensure that our own user and kernel output caches do not match every “set-cookie” response from SiteMinder.

Question 2: The caching logic is new for modules in IIS 7.x. Does SiteMinder Web Release Advisor r12.5 for IIS have caching related environments?

  • From an online article at .ksingla.net:
“IIS6 user-mode files store legacy cache, cache, token URI cache, metadata

can be controlled usingu webserver/caching editing system or partition using

Question 3: The ordered index of modules included in the r12.5 installation for IIS 7.x shows the real estate agent modules listed last. According to the Microsoft documentation, this means that the module is run frequently. But according to the CA documentation, all web agents have the biggest problem. How can I check this?

Modules are hooked into IIS to be placed in the pipeline based on the main types of events they listen for.

The SiteMinder IIS7 subsystem implements the following handling events:
    RQ_AUTHENTICATE_REQUEST (post-conference notification) and
    RQ_EXECUTE_REQUEST_HANDLER

The output caching subsystem implements our own following request events:
    RESOLVE_REQUEST_CACHE, processing, and UPDATE_REQUEST_CACHE

The order of the modules only matters if four modules (for example, the IIS output cache module and therefore the SiteMinder agent module) are explicitly configured to process the same IIS events No type. Since these are different types of events, the order of the modules will of course not matter here. Good documentation on IIS7 here:
