If you have seen the dv ntsc codec, the following guide will help you.

What can be called the best video codec in terms of quality? The best video codec in terms of quality is probably H.265/HVEC as it is also well suited for high compression 4k HD video processing. A good alternative to Google devices and platforms (YouTube, Android, Chrome) is the VP9 codec.

This technique is based on a comment by Diana Thompson who wrote:
[Could you] explain the sequence settings in the GENERAL test? I have not been able to find a description of each new compressor with information about its pros and cons or best use to give me an idea of which one is better. (By the way, I really enjoyed the discussion of the “Continue work month” video processing tab!)
Larry replies: Diane, the email flamethrower contests started after much more innocent requests, but so far it’s been mostly quiet. This isn’t really an exhaustive discussion, as there are tons and dozens of codecs out there, with more coming out every day. However, I canhelp you understand how many codecs work and how to choose the one that’s right for you.
Capture card developers such as Design, Blackmagic and AJA and camera manufacturers such as Panasonic and Sony also often create their own codecs to take advantage of specific technologies developed for their devices. This article definitely does not cover these specific codecs.
But even with these limitations, much remains to be said. And I’ll start with the context.
All videos are compressed
All the video presentations we record and eventually watch on TV are compressed. This has been true since time immemorial – or, well, often, at least since the dawn of video.
Some, like DV or HDV, are intentionally compressed in multiple directions. Other videos like DigiBetacam flex less.
How do I choose a codec?
In general, you should aim for the highest quality codec that your DSLR (or your budget) can capture. When I say “highest quality,” I mean that, according to the experts, you want the most important information possible. So they choose codecs with less loss: less compression, more bit depth, and less chroma subsampling.
The reason for all this data compression is that video files are HUGE and engineers are always looking for ways to reduce them without sacrificing too much quality. That’s what codecs (COmpressor/DECompressor for short) are for: they come from within. A contains instructions for specific codecs by compressing the video to limit its size and then decompressing it to “full quality” for playback.
Is NTSC a codec?
Choose a good video codec So if you actually record NTSC DV, DV/DVCPRO – NTSC codec is the best choice. (Outside the US, you can use(be sure to use the PAL DV codec in your PAL DV video.) The rule of thumb for the future is that when choosing a codec for integrating multiple teaching video formats, choose the codec that guarantees the best quality.
There are four main goals to consider when detecting a codec:
- Compressed file size
- Compression rate
- Decompression at full speed
- Best image quality
For example, when you post the latest file on the Internet, file reliability and decompression speed are more important in determining how long it will take to print the file in its original form or final quality. Advice picture. This does not mean that the last two are not important, in fact they are less important.
On the other hand, when you’re streaming live, compression speed is almost paramount, because if you can’t pack faster than real time, no one will be able to watch the event.
Third example: for a TV program with a network system, the speed of decompression and the quality of the final image are of paramount importance.
The codec example above is not only suitable for motionlearning images. BMP, PNG, TGA, and TIFF are special codecs used for saving and restoring still images. They are designed to provide the best image quality, but on the other hand, do not compress image decompression sequences in real time.
By the way, codecs are often categorized as “lossy”, “lossless”, and “lossless”. A lossless codec preserves the original image in its entirety so that when trust is restored, it becomes indistinguishable from the original image. TIFF and PNG are examples of lossless codecs. Lossy
What video codec should I use Final Cut Pro?
Set the video codec to H.264 (better quality or faster encoding depending on how long you want to wait. There is little difference in quality). Set the resolution to be the same as the original video (usually 1920z1080).
The codec “discards” the visual information as part of the compression process, causing the compressed image to lose the original quality you see as the source. All video codecs are often lossy.
None of the codecs meet these four criteria. Each codec focuses on maximizing one out of two out of four. As a rule, there is no other “ideal” codec, since different codecs are created to meet different criteria.
Ta many codecs, so little time
Of course, you understand why there are so many codecs, but Final Cut makes it somewhat difficult to choose a codec.
Final Cut started out as a QuickTime editor, just like the Adobe Illustrator lifestyle started out as a PostScript editor. Both quickly evolved into something much bigger, but neither has forgotten its roots.
Final Cut supports all codecs supported by QuickTime. Plus, QuickTime supports all (or nearly all) legacy codecs, so you can still enjoy your QuickTime movies no matter how old they are.
Examples of obscure codecs (note I didn’t say codecs are useless):
Well, before people start deleting emails, let our company point out that for certain applications, in certain situations, even these codecs can be indispensable. However, when watching famous videos on a daily basis, I miss them.ck may sound familiar to you.
Note that not all codecs supported by Final Cut are full screen video. I just mentioned graphics codecs like TIFF, BMP, PNG and TGA.Download this PC optimization tool to make your computer run faster.
